An overwhelming majority of Americans (80%) believe their own community is “a great place to raise a family,” yet nearly half worry about overdevelopment–especially the influx of chain stores and restaurants.
Home Improvement:
In the last year, 11% spent between $1,000 and $1,500 in repairs and upgrades, while nearly a third invested more than $5,000. The top projects included painting a room, buying furniture and landscaping their property.
