Semi-final game

Mossy Creek 8th grade baseball team will be playing in a semi-final game on Friday afternoon at MCMS. Time is around 5 (depending on how quickly the 7th graders finish their game) and cost is $4. County championship game is scheduled for May 20th site and time to be determined.

SALES TAX HOLIDAYS

GEORGIA’S FOURTH ANNUAL SALES TAX HOLIDAYS HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED FOR 2008 - This year’s back-to-school tax holiday is scheduled to begin at 12:01 a.m. on July 31 and to end at midnight on August 3rd. During the back-to-school holiday Georgia shoppers will be able to purchase certain clothing items, school supplies, computers and computer accessories tax free. The Energy Star and Water Sense sales tax holiday begins 12:01 a.m. October 2 and ends at midnight October 5.

FUNDRAISER

CENTRAL GEORGIA BOARD OF REALTORS FUNDRAISER FOR “REBUILDING TOGETHER”. The Central Georgia Board of Realtors kicked off their annual fundraiser in order to donate their time and money to raise funds for the Rebuilding Together program of Houston County. Rebuilding Together is a national non-profit organization who’s mission is to preserve affordable housing by bringing volunteers and communities together to rehabilitate the homes of low income homeowners in Warner Robins, Georgia.

In order to help support this effort the Central Georgia Board of Realtors is selling tickets for a Chicken Parmigiana dinner from Johnny Carino’s Italian Grill of Warner Robins for $7.50 each. Those who purchase a ticket will pick up their dinner’s at Johnny Carino’s on May 27, 2008 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. All earned proceeds will be donated to the Rebuilding Together organization.
